Moodle platform based system
Moodle was created with the intention of being used in a heterogenic environment such as a university campus. Due to the wide range of the requirements for this use, it is offering a high-class module architecture which allows it to be modified to other environments and easily updated. What is more, OLAT is compatible with the newest standards of e-Learning such as IMS Content Packaging (IMS-CP), IMS-QTI and SCORM.
LMS Moodle joins an elastic system of managing the courses and various additional features. These functions are, most of all, managing teaching aids such as cataloguing or delivering tools for editing tests, questionnaires and courses.
The chosen functionalities of the LMS system based on the Moodle platform:
- management of users: teachers and students,
- management of courses and classes,
- importing and rendering e-Learning courses in various formats,
- registering the education process for each student individually,
- following and verification of students’ progress,
- reporting the results of teaching,
- control of actions of the teachers (trainers),
- monitoring of the actions and satisfaction of students during training.
Other important aspects of Moodle are:

- gorupware solutions such as discussion forums, chat, Wiki, e-mail formsand repositories,
- didactical independence within the course system thanks to flexible application of elements of the course such as: structure, single page, external page, Wiki, materials for learning in the IMS-CP i SCORM systems, test, test for self-check of student’s progress, questionaire, evaluation, task, dialogue box of the file, signing up for the course, contact form, forum and folder
- e-mail and RSS notification
- easy to use personalised interface
- multilingual help materials for the students (in Polish, French, Italian, English and other)
- possibility of integrating the system with external information systems
Moodle couses management system is available in the model as a SaaS (Software as a Service) or implemented in the Cutomer’s infrastructure.
